And I too have sewed pins in between the lining and main fabric. :) What I dislike is sewing a pin in but not knowing I did so. . .until, for instance, I am at church and the pin decides to let me know of its presence with sharp little pokes!

I can't wait to see your spencer! Now I am in the mood to make one too. :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06713535191616985475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6332557059549813243.post-82996395422445219552009-11-02T06:19:30.548-08:002009-11-02T06:19:30.548-08:00Oh, I've never done that! *cough* Okay, so may...Oh, I've never done that! *cough* Okay, so maybe I have! ;-) What's terrible is when I sew something on the wrong way, rip it out -- and then proceed to sew it on the wrong way again! *sigh* I sometimes wonder if I have a brain... ;-)

I hope your spencer goes well, and I can't wait to see pictures of it!

Blessings,
Shannon~ Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08882650511821959701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6332557059549813243.post-78595196655017048312009-11-01T20:43:54.961-08:002009-11-01T20:43:54.961-08:00I make mistakes sewing all the time ... I am still trying to figure out how to become the seamstress that can complete a garment with only one mistake and who can avoid the need to pull out an entire row of stitches every time she decides to sew!!

That's funny about the pin ... I couldn't help but laugh ... it puts me in mind of the time that I sewed a waist tie wrong side out ... :p

To the KING be all the glory!
Rebekah

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15Rebekahhttp://www.donotgrowweary.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6332557059549813243.post-17622344571720667762009-11-01T05:32:18.322-08:002009-11-01T05:32:18.322-08:00hehe amen! seems like EVERY time I sew something, ...hehe amen! seems like EVERY time I sew something, SOMETHING goes on upside down or inside out.
