A 1940's-Inspired Doll Jumper and Blouse

Okay! Here is the finished product! I am so happy with it! :-D

The blouse by itself:
It is now for sale at our Etsy shop!

P.S. For those who might like to know, I have decided to invest in "Rebecca"! Lord willing, she should arrive in a couple days. I'll be sure to post when she does. ;-)

Cute jumper and blouse! Do you make your own patterns or use ready made ones?

I'm looking forward to seeing your Rebecca.
Actually, this one is based off of an out-of-print pattern that American Girl used to put out back in the '90s, I think. I followed that mainly for the jumper but did some of my own things on the blouse.

Here's a link to pdf versions of the AG patterns.

Maybe you've already seen this.
Momawake,
That's okay about the comments. I was actually going to just post one and leave the other, but then I realized the other one had more text so I just published them both. :-)

"AGPlaythings" is actually where I got the patterns... what a jackpot! LOL! I found it through "Raising American Girls". Anyway, have you made some dresses from those patterns? I LOVE 'em! :-D

I've made a few of Josefina's clothes and there are probably others, but I don't remember for sure.
