Yellow

Oh Augusta! It is linen-look fabric from JoAnns! And it is yellow! And there is a great deal of it!!


It is JUST the right shade!! I love it. I got 5 yards but I am not sure which pattern I will use for it yet. :-)

P.S. The picture I took and posted doesn't show its color very clearly; it is a little bit more creamy yellow than is showing up in the picture.

I made Amy a regency dress (Sense & Sensibility pattern) out of Joann's linen look. It was pretty easy to work with, although it makes for a heavy dress.

I wondered if it would make for a heavy dress... the fabric is kind of heavy! I think I am going to use the fabric to make another dress out of the same pattern that I made my Florida dress (Butterick 4443).
