I Guess We Classify As Maniacs Now...

...because we joined the ranks of the people who get to the store at 6:15 in the morning to find great deals on Black Friday!
But we did not join the ranks of the people who get up at 3:00 in the morning to go shopping. In any case, JoAnn's doesn't open until 6:00!

Three out of the five Black Friday maniacs: Elinor/me (left), Marianne (middle) and C. (right; name withheld). I should add that this was at about 7:30-ish, when we were bringing our huge load of JoAnn's bags out to the van before heading back in to browse until Aldi's opened.

The parking lot at about 7:30. I think it was fuller when we arrived at 6:15.

I found some good deals at JoAnn's, though they have deals so often that it wasn't really anything more spectacular than usual (as far as fabric and patterns go, that is.) But my mom picked up some stuff, and my sisters got some scrapbooking materials.
So here is some of the stuff I/we got that were particularly interesting or exciting. :-)

An iron! We so needed a new one because our other one was so junky and hardly did its job at all! I have already used this one and it is really nice!
I hope to make View C sometime; I think it is so cute! :-)
Gorgeous! Hopefully for our Campobello/P.E.I trip...
