Molly's Light Green Day Dress

Here is a plain but lovely day dress of Molly's.

Here's a front view. Not the fanned bodice, the waistband, and the skirt gathered all the way around.

A view of the back:

Another view of the back (it seems to close with hooks-and-eyes):

Side View:

It was very hard to get a decent picture of the hem. I circled where there seems to be tucks... I'm guessing 3 sets of maybe 3 tucks... It's hard to tell.

Look closely at the fabric. It seems that this is not a solid green dress; there appear to be very small checks.
Also note the neckline. It has a similar trimming to the orange sprigged dress.

You can use Sense and Sensibility's Romantic Era dress pattern for this dress. You may want to raise the bodice a little and add a wide bias to the neckline. Use the long sleeve option but you can trim it to be 3/4 length, like Molly's. Close it in the back with hooks-and-eyes. If you want, add tucks to the hem, however tickles your fancy! :-)
